The Ugly Slab

Years ago, I supplied slabs to Rooster Tackle in Huntsville TX. The owner decided to close his shop and return to college to get his PhD. He sent me an old mold that he had that was pitiful, did I say pitiful?

I tried several times to pour a decent slab with that thing and finally gave up. But, a few weeks ago, I found one of them and decided to use it. Oh boy! It was on. I tried several styles of slabs that day but the Ugly Slab was the only one the fish would hit.

Now I ain't sayin other slabs don't work, but this baby has produced for me every time I've used it. It ain't pretty. The mold is pitiful, did I say pitiful? The edges are uneven and the wire form often shows through on the ends....however, it is curved on one side and flat on the other and it flutters like crazy. So, I made a few and it's the only slab I'm using right now.

This slab weighs a little over 1.6 ounces and they are tough to make..(lots of hand work)......so......hence the price.

BE SURE TO USE A TEASER!!!

BUY NOW !!! THESE ARE SO GOOD YOU'LL WANNA SLAP YER GRANDMA!!!
